Theo and I took his friend Rocky to this dog-friendly beach in Malibu. It was confusing because the first thing we saw when we walked up to the beach was this sign:

But apparently some parts of the beach are dog-friendly and we saw other dogs there. This is an on-leash dog beach only. I didn’t like this place very much though Theo had a good time running around in the sandy parts while trying to eat fly-infested seaweed. I had this vision of Theo running full speed into the water, his hair flying wildly in the wind as he hit the waves full speed… but that definitely won’t be happening here without him hurting himself.

Cons
- $12 to park! There is some highway parking available but those spots were taken.
- Beach is extremely rocky, not ideal for dogs to run and play.
- Windy. I’ve reach other reviews of the place and they also agree. I was freezing!
I won’t be going back. I am still on the hunt for a fun doggy beach!
